The National Bank of Belgium’s Ordinary General Meeting of shareholders, held on 21 May 2024
re-elected as regents Ms Helga Coppen and Mr Pieter Timmermans. In addition, Ms Ann Vermorgen, Mr Pieter Verhelst, Ms Marthe Nyssens and Mr Frédéric Rouvez were also elected regents.
As a result of these decisions, the National Bank of Belgium’s Council of Regency is henceforth composed as follows:

- Mr Pierre Wunsch, Governor
- Mr Steven Vanackere, Vice-Governor
- Mr Vincent Magnée, Director-Treasurer

- Five Regents appointed further to a proposal by the socio-economic partners
- Ms Ann Vermorgen, president of the Confédération des syndicats chrétiens (CSC) / Algemeen Christelijk Vakverbond (ACV)
- Mr Pieter Timmermans, managing director of the Fédération des Entreprises de Belgique (FEB) / Verbond van Belgische Ondernemingen (VBO)
- Mr Danny Van Assche, managing director of UNIZO
- Mr Thierry Bodson, president of the Fédération Générale du Travail de Belgique (FGTB) / Algemeen Belgisch Vakverbond (ABVV)
- Mr Pieter Verhelst, member of the executive committee of the Boerenbond - Belgian farmers union
- Nine Regents appointed further to a proposal by the Minister of Finance
- Ms Claire Tillekaerts, chairperson of the Council of Regency
