All the applications of the Central Balance Sheet Office have been completely rewritten. As of 4 April 2022, the filing of annual accounts and the preparation of annual accounts are only possible in the new integrated FILING application.

The access to the new Filing application via CSAM is via: https://filing.cbso.nbb.be.

You can log in via your eID or itsme or via a commercial named certificate (Isabel, GlobalSign or QuoVadis) with authentication access to CSAM.

This new application allows you to:

• import one or more XBRL (or ZIP) files,
• declare a single PDF file
• create a new filing form, i.e. the former SOFISTA functionality.

Attention: old XBRL-files, created with Sofista (or with old commercial accounting software) are not compatible with the new Filing application.

However, within this new application a conversion tool “Convert an old file” has been provided to convert an old XBRL file into the new XBRL structure. The converted file is saved from the new Filing application to your PC under downloads and must then be imported into the new application.

Previous year's data can be recovered from an annual account in the Personal Space via an action on the form level.
