Gert Peersman is a full professor in the Department of Economics at Ghent University. His research focuses on empirical macroeconomics, monetary policy, fiscal policy, business cycle analysis and commodity market dynamics. Collaboration with staff from the Bank took place as part of the NBB Research Fellowship Programme and the NBB colloquium (2024). More information on his research can be found on his homepage.
