Publications and research
The National Bank of Belgium does a lot of research to have a good insight into economic developments in Belgium, Europe and the rest of the world, in order to make sure you receive accurate information. For instance, the National Bank studies monetary policy, gauges the confidence of households and companies via surveys, reports on the labour market and analyses public finances. It also keeps a finger on the pulse of current issues such as climate risks, the housing market or energy prices. It makes the results of this study work available through various publications and events, so that both policymakers and the wider public can be informed.
