The data contained in the Individual Credit Register (ICR) may be consulted by borrowers, lenders and persons authorised to receive this information.
Consumers have the right to consult free of charge the data pertaining to them in the ICR.
Lenders are required by law to consult the Individual Credit Register (ICR) before extending credit or granting a loan.
Authorised persons such as debt negotiators, lawyers and trustees can consult the ICR under certain circumstances.
