2024-10-29  The DORA regulation provides for multiple reports. This information will be collected by the National Bank of Belgium (for the financial institutions under its supervision) via the OneGate collection tool.
  • DORA_ROI (register of information): an information register regarding contractual agreements on the use of ICT services provided by service providers.
  • DORA_MIR (major incident reporting): major ICT-related incidents as well as, on a voluntary basis, significant cyber threats.

This website aims to provide the technical documentation to the reporting financial institutions. Since the specifications from the European authorities are not yet final, this website is a “work-in-progress” and information will be added gradually as it becomes available. For DORA_ROI, the European Banking Authority is developing an XBRL taxonomy. It will be possible to report in XBRL-XML and XBRL-CSV (in addition to manual entry). For DORA_MIR, no XBRL-taxonomy is provided by the European authorities. Therefore, the reporting will need to be done in the OneGate XML format.

Technical documentation

The declarations in OneGate must meet a number of technical requirements, which vary from report to report.

In the table below, you will find links to all necessary documents, such as any XBRL taxonomies that describe the precise XBRL syntax of the declaration, example files, including XBRL instance documents, and various technical documents, including transmission protocols and possibly validation rules. The downloadable files are only available in English.

Any technical questions can be sent as usual to [email protected] for credit institutions, investment firms, payment institutions, electronic money institutions, and central securities depositories, and to [email protected] for the insurance sector.
